Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh watermelon cubes, frozen
  • 2 oz Blanco Tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice, strained
  • 0.5 oz agave nectar
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 1 wedge fresh watermelon
  • 1 sprig fresh mint

Instructions:

  1. Place the frozen watermelon cubes into the blender. Pulse until the fruit is completely liquefied into a thick, frosty puree with no remaining chunks.
  2. Pour the watermelon puree, Blanco tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, and sea salt into the cocktail shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker halfway with ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels frosted.
  4. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip it into the kosher salt or Tajín seasoning.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into the glass over fresh ice to remove fruit pulp.
  6. Garnish the drink with a watermelon wedge and a sprig of fresh mint.
