  • 4 oz feta cheese or fresh mozzarella pearls, cubed

Instructions:

  1. Wash and dry the tomatoes thoroughly, then slice them into consistent wedges.
  2. Slice the red onion as thinly as possible into half-moons.
  3. In a small jar or bowl, combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Shake or whisk the dressing vigorously until the mixture looks opaque and unified.
  5. Place the chopped tomatoes, sliced onions, and minced garlic in a large mixing bowl.
  6. Drizzle the vinaigrette over the produce and toss gently using a wide spoon.
  7. Fold in the torn basil and cubed cheese just before serving to maintain freshness and texture.
