Ingredients:
- 2 oz vodka
- 0.5 oz triple sec
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 lemon wedge
Instructions:
- Run the lemon wedge around the outer rim of a chilled martini or coupe glass to create a thin moisture seal.
- Invert the glass and press the rim firmly into the granulated sugar, then tap gently to remove excess granules.
- Combine the vodka, triple sec, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker to the brim with large ice cubes and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels frosty.
- Double strain the mixture into the prepared sugar-rimmed glass.
- Garnish with a thin lemon wheel or a twist.
