Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) fine sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp (2g) smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp (1g) garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp (15g) fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Peel the sweet potatoes and slice them into uniform 1-inch (2.5cm) cubes.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato cubes with avocado oil, salt, and pepper until every surface is evenly coated.
  3. Place the cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer; work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  4. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and air fry for 12–15 minutes.
  5. Halfway through the cooking time, shake the basket vigorously or use tongs to flip the cubes to ensure even browning.
  6. Remove the potatoes once they have developed a deep golden-brown color and are tender when pierced with a fork.
  7. While the potatoes are hot, toss them with smoked paprika and garlic powder, then garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
