Ingredients:
- 1 cup (255g) creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup (100g) white granulated sugar
- 1 large (50g) egg
- 1/2 tsp (3g) flaky sea salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Beat the mixture until the sugar is fully incorporated and the dough looks smooth and glossy.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough and roll them into 1-inch balls. Place them 2 inches apart on the sheet.
- Use a fork to press a criss-cross pattern into the top of each ball, flattening them slightly.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are light golden brown and the centers remain slightly soft.
- Immediately sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over the top of each cookie while the surface is still tacky. Let them cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.
